In between talking about allergies and the weather, we manage to wedge in mostly music talk. *INCLUDING A QUITE GRAPHIC JIMI HENDRIX SEX STORY.* We earn the explicit tag this episode. Paul reads STEVEN TYLER'S biography, is planning on KEITH RICHARD'S next and Gordie will read it together for book club. We discuss ALICE COOPER, QUEEN, BRIAN JOHNSON REDD KROSS and pay tribute to GUNS 'N ROSES.

Paul and Gordie are joined by JULIE McKIM for a Gordcast exclusive. Julie connects PETCO with Andy Warhols Factory and we begin with LADY GA GA, DIAMONDSNAKE, LED ZEPPELIN , BLACK ANGELS, MGMT, LAURA NYRO, DALE BOZZIO, ERLAN, BOB DYLAN and finally get to THE FOO FIGHTERS. Gordie loves the new Foo Fighters and convinces Paul, though julie needs no convincing. We discuss producers and Julie dances like PAT BENATAR as a hooker. Taylor Hawkins sings like Dennis Wilson and we find out what street we grew up on. Paul sings! Gordie sings! ...and Julie does not in public or private, because she is the Dangerous Aunt. Ramble on!

No this is not an all Spin Doctors podcast. Gordie gets a haircut and Paul hasn't paid for one in years. Paul meets ICE T and becomes a fan. We talk first about PRINCE completely blowing our minds, then fit in the Royal wedding, Rebecca Black, Justin Beiber, Gordies old kitchen cabinets and a shout out to one of the Gordcast faithful. Cheers!

Gordie is back from his holiday in the British Isles and tells Paul Bertolino of his travels. Avoiding London altogether, Gordie visits small villages, the Holy Grail of Castles in Scotland and doesn't hear any leaf blowers. Paul has moved and runs into Lou Reed and Robert Plant. They both are both Re-creationists and would love to raid Napa neighborhoods for photos. ...a hum is slightly pervasive and I hope for these audio glitches to disappear. Cheers!

Gordies voice is doubled and echoed all through his talk with TOM BELAND. We begin by talking about Canadian Parliment which slams full on into a 20 minute Marijuana discussion, complete with pizza and The Legend Of Zelda. Sports is up next with World Series talk, posting football scores in the window for the guys at the bakery across the street from the Lovejoy Mansion, sports cosplay and how STRAT-O-MATIC BASEBALL is more fun than D&D. We finally get around to talking TRUE STORY SWEAR TO GOD and Toms internet goes down. Hope you can get through, but honestly, Tom does most of the talking.

In an unprecedented Gordcast, Gordie and Paul wrangle previous guest: Nathan Alfaro and new guest: Brian Nash to provide a glimpse into when four friends get together around a mic and let fly. (...Gordie a little too much.) MIKE NESMITH seems to be the main topic, but we hit on THE MONKEES, JUDAS PRIEST, THE FOO FIGHTERS, PRINCE THE BANANA SPLITS, BURT WARD, WIL WHEATON, the roots of Alt Country and way too much table banging for emphasis. The sound can be a bit jarring at times, so hold onto yer ears.

Gordie is joined by Ty Domke to talk about music, UFOs and plumbing. Ty goes to his first concert at the LA Forum, wants to play her-monica and knows a little bit about a lot of things. Joe Satriani sets off the fire alarm at The Uptown Theater where the sound is incredible. Big Country and UFO makes Gordie smile and we finish up talking about wine, Maynard from Tool and Art Bell. (Jake Shimabukuro, The Rolling Stones, KISS, The Doors, The Southern Death Cult, Jimi Hendrix, The Who and Huey Lewis also come up.)
