Gordcast
Now in it's XXth? year, Gordie Adams' Gordcast covers music, comic books, movies, television, memories, nostalgia, current events and whatever else comes up in conversations with friends and sometimes in an informal interview with someone Gordie wants to know more about. Fellow aficionado Paul Bertolino joined as co-host of the Gordcast for the majority of episodes and along the way, Gordie welcomed a roster of special guests. After a hiatus he is back and invites you to hang out with the Gordcast for entertaining conversation and good company. Join us and have fun! Bonus episodes of The Gordcast Shuffle (wherein Gordie and Paul each gave three random spins to their vast music collections and talk in wonderful detail about the songs that show-up) are included in the same feed.
Gordcast Episode 31 - Dead Metal Heroes!

It's back to the usual format when Paul Bertolino joins Gordie from New York, to talk about fallen heroes and soon to be fallen heroes.

Paul sees The New York Dolls, Hanoi Rocks' Michael Monroe and sings in the streets with the homeless. Gordie runs into a Sasquatch in Portland, gets stuck in Utah and has zero tolerance for uninformed Christian fanatics.

They both mourn Ronnie James Dio and tell how he effected us through the ages.

Paul finishes up with reading Ozzys biography and we welcome new listeners and their comments.

Gordcast Episode 30 - Hail, Siuntres The Hero!

Gordie meets and interviews John Siuntres from Word Balloon, for the first time! (...beamed in from the Boom Tube or surfing on cosmic waves.) The conversation is super comic book centric, while dipping in and out of sports talk, movie talk and who's the oldest guy in the room.

John admits he is not a gardener, nor a fisherman, but loves being a city guy and gives Gordie tips on how to rule the podcast waves.

Gordie meets celebrities, gave up on comics, stayed cool with Love and Rockets, Cerebus, Arthur Adams and fails his own test on old time hockey conferences.

They both agree that Breaking Bad and Precious (based on the novel Push by Sapphire) are tough to watch, but Schindler's List can be enjoyed? more than once.

EC comics, Jack Davis, Jason Aaron, Al Feldstein, Chris Neseman, Brubaker and wonder of wonders...   Bendis gets mentioned.

This one goes longer than usual, but we just kept going.  Just listen and enjoy!

Welcome new listeners!
