In an unprecedented Gordcast, Gordie and Paul wrangle previous guest: Nathan Alfaro and new guest: Brian Nash to provide a glimpse into when four friends get together around a mic and let fly. (...Gordie a little too much.) MIKE NESMITH seems to be the main topic, but we hit on THE MONKEES, JUDAS PRIEST, THE FOO FIGHTERS, PRINCE THE BANANA SPLITS, BURT WARD, WIL WHEATON, the roots of Alt Country and way too much table banging for emphasis. The sound can be a bit jarring at times, so hold onto yer ears.

Gordie is joined by Ty Domke to talk about music, UFOs and plumbing. Ty goes to his first concert at the LA Forum, wants to play her-monica and knows a little bit about a lot of things. Joe Satriani sets off the fire alarm at The Uptown Theater where the sound is incredible. Big Country and UFO makes Gordie smile and we finish up talking about wine, Maynard from Tool and Art Bell. (Jake Shimabukuro, The Rolling Stones, KISS, The Doors, The Southern Death Cult, Jimi Hendrix, The Who and Huey Lewis also come up.)

Paul Bertolino joins Gordie to discuss the weather once again. (Paul finally buys winter boots!) Gordie plays gin rummy with his family and compiles his favorite Beatles songs and stays "posi 2011." We discuss SGT PEPPER (the movie) and other Robert Stigwood gems. We compare and contrast Saturday Night Fever with Samurai Night Fever and locations in and around Brooklyn. Gordie delivers christmas parcels to Austalians and we confuse KANSAS with STYX with PARADISE ALLEY. Football wraps up our discussion as we welcome new listeners. Enjoy.
